• 1 can of chickpeas
  • 6tbsp tahini
  • 1 lemon juiced
  • 2tbsp olive oil
  • 2 garlic gloves
  • 0.5tsp salt
  • 0.5tsp ground paprika
  • 0.5tsp ground cumin
  • 0.5tsp ground coriander
  • 6 ice cubes


  1. drain a can of chickpeas into a colander
    • submerge colander in a bowl of water
  2. massage chickpeas till shells come off
  3. force colander up and down until the shells float
    • throw away the shells
  4. blend chickpeas, oil, salt, spices, garlic and salt
  5. add an icecube every minute
  6. after 4 minutes add the lemon juice
  7. blend for another two minutes
  8. pour into a shallow bowl
    • make a crater with a back of a spoon
    • sprinkle additional spices over the hummus
    • drizzel over a couple table spoons of oil
    • sprinkle some sesame seeds over
